Shannon Childers is the mother of three boys and is employed at Community Spirit Bank in Red Bay, Alabama. She has a desire to share the love and forgiveness that Christ offers to women who have lost their way through life’s troubling circumstances. Having attended church throughout her life, Shannon believed that she knew the Lord. She shares that her life did not reflect true change and it was only this past year that Shannon came to realize that God does indeed transform his children. As a born again believer, Shannon desires to tell other women about the love of Jesus and how He alone can make the difference in their life. She also desires to help struggling women see that the church can extend the love of Jesus without any shame and condemnation. Shannon’s hope is to start a weekly bible study for women of all ages in her community and to one day complete a devotion book for young men titled, “Sword for Life”. |
